Bamboo plants can live as long 120 years making them one of the most sustainable resources on Earth.
There are nearly 1200 varieties of bamboo from China, Africa and throughout the U.S.
Due to the long life of the bamboo grass, it can be harvested many times without killing it.
Flooring Styles
Bamboo comes in 3 styles - vertical, horizontal, and strand.
Horizontal bamboo gets its name from the way the bamboo is manufactured. The bamboo stock is flattened and laid horizontally so you see much more of the grain.
Vertical bamboo is flattened and laid vertically to reveal the side of each bamboo stalk.
Strand woven bamboo is made into a pressing the stalks into a block and fusion them together using heat or ice.
